Laura Escrivá LLorens, MSc, was born on May 27th 1988 in Valencia, Spain. She got her bachelor degree in “Pharmacy” at University of Valencia (UV) and she continued her studies with a MSc in “Food Quality and Safety” at the same institution. During her master she did a thesis on “Toxicity and Bioavailability of Minor Fusarium Mycotoxins”. After that she started her PhD in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Toxicology, Food Science and Forensic Medicine (UV) focused on ‘in vivo and in vitro Toxicity of Mycotoxins, using analytical techniques based on Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry. In February 2017 she started a four months research stay at the Department of Toxicogenomics, Maastricht University, to learn how to analyse RNA-sequencing data.
