Profile

Ing Sandra Claessen was born in Herten on the 5th of August 1973. In 1997 she graduated from the technical school for medical biotechnology in Utrecht. She specialized in molecular biology and chromosomal abberations. 

The last 3 years at the Department her main focus was Array Technology and therefore she is an expert in Affymetrix and Epigenetics (Nimblegen) Array Technology. 

Since April 2008 she is occupied at the Department of Toxicogenomics. Currently she is working for the FP7 European project "Detective".
