In his lecture Prof Dr. Soterios Kyrtopoulos will give an overview of the main findings of the European (FP7) project Envirogenomarkers (Genomics Biomarkers of Environmental Health), in which global profiling technologies were employed in the context of a prospective epidemiological study to investigate the health impact of a number of environmental exposures.
CV Soterios Kyrtopoulos Currently he is Emeritus Research Professor at the National Hellenic Research Foundation (Institute of Biology, Medicinal Chemistry and Biotechnology). His specific research interests lie in the area of the toxicology and the environmental causes of human disease, especially cancer.
